We invest in the health, voice and opportunity of women and young people — building healthier bodies, healthier minds, and healthier communities across Sierra Leone.
The Mariyam's Ways Foundation (MWF) exists to enhance opportunities for social change through strategic investments and partnerships that improve health and well-being, promote quality education, and create economic empowerment opportunities.
We believe true empowerment moves women and youth from being recipients of help to becoming agents of change — leading, innovating, and transforming the communities they call home.
Enhancing opportunities for social change through strategic investments and partnerships in health, education, and economic empowerment.
Healthier communities where women and young people are empowered to lead, innovate, and transform society.
Every program is designed to preserve dignity — replacing stigma and silence with support and voice.
We build pathways from receiving support to leading change — moving survival toward significance.

The MWF PhilosophyEntrepreneur · Humanitarian · Media Personality
Mariyam Lorba Konneh founded The Mariyam's Ways Foundation to turn her own journey of ambition and service into a platform for others. As an entrepreneur and media personality, she has used her voice to champion health, dignity and opportunity for women and young people across Sierra Leone.
She represents Sierra Leone as its Miss World Sierra Leone 2026 representative, and leads MWF alongside her affiliated venture, Mariyam's Ways Limited (MWL). She is also a member of the Commonwealth Business Women's Network (CBWN), Sierra Leone — extending her impact into regional business and policy circles.
Every program is designed around one idea: health, voice and opportunity move together.
Breaking stigma and building access, one community at a time.
Caring for the mind as much as the body.
Equipping young people to lead where they stand.
From idea to income — real tools for real independence.
Healthy communities need healthy surroundings.

The health outreach team made it easy to ask questions I'd never asked out loud before. I left with supplies, information, and a lot more confidence.
The leadership cohort changed how I see myself. I went from attending meetings to running one of my own community's youth programs.
With the startup grant and training, my tailoring shop finally has a proper storefront — and I've hired two other women from my community.
